5.1
Replacing the battery
!
WARNING
Risk of explosion!
► Use only the lithium battery type LBT 01** (order no. 83 26 856).
► Do not remove or replace the batteries in potentially explosive
atmospheres. Do no throw used batteries into fire or try to open them by
force. Dispose of batteries in accordance with the national provisions.
The battery is part of the Ex approval.
Switch off the gas detector. To replace the battery, see page 207, fig. D.
The battery connector must be snapped in when it is inserted.
5.2
Replacing the dust and water filter
See the technical manual to replace the dust and water filter.
For gas monitors with DrägerSensor XXS Ozone (O
casing must be replaced due to the special diaphragm, see technical manual.
5.3
Cleaning
The gas detector does not require any special care. If it is heavily soiled, wash
the gas detector with cold water and use a sponge if necessary. Use a cloth to
dry the gas detector.
ATTENTION
Damage to the gas detector!
Rough cleaning objects (e.g. brushes), cleaning agents and solvent may destroy
the dust and water filter.
► Only clean the gas detector with cold water and, if necessary, with a
sponge.
