For machines condensed by air (Picture 3), if the front air intake is insufficient, the output is completely or
partially obstructed or if it is going to receive warm air from another device, we strongly advise to INSTALL A
WATER CONDENSER if the machine cannot be moved to another location.
(2) Water and draining.
The water quality has a significant effect on the appearance, density and taste of the ice, and will affect the life
expectancy of a water condenser, if used.
Use the 3/8 FTP connection for the water inlet and the ¾ FTP for draining.
"This equipment is to be installed with adequate blackflow protection to comply with applicable federal, state, and local
codes. "
(3) Electrical connection.
IT IS MANDATORY TO CONNECT THIS MACHINE TO AN EARTH.
To avoid possible discharges on people or damage to the equipment, the machine must be earthed in accordance with
local and/or national regulations and legislation.
THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES DUE TO THE MACHINE BEING UNEARTHED.
The machine is supplied with a junction box located at the rear of the machine (Picture 4), which must be assembled by
a qualified person in compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations.
The machine should be positioned with a gap between the back and the wall to allow accessibility to the cable plug in a
comfortable and risk-free manner (Picture 4).
A switch may be installed for convenience.
Voltage and current are marked on the rating plate. Variations in voltage higher than 10% of that indicated on the board
can cause malfunctions or prevent the machine from starting.
(4) Installing the equipment above deposits/bins.
Modular machines must be installed on tanks or bins, following the instructions contained in this manual.
The strength and stability of the container-machine/s assembly as well as the fixing of the elements must be checked.
The drain must be lower than the drainage area of the tank/silo and the hose must always be in a descending position,
NEVER rising, (Picture 4).
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE WATER PIPE DOES NOT PASS BY OR GO NEAR HEAT SPOTS AS THIS WILL AFFECT ICE
PRODUCTION.
