The control panel of the Crosswalker consists of the following: (Fig. 2)
1. Start switch to turn the Crosswalker on
2. Stop switch to turn the Crosswalker off
3. Rotary button for various adjustments
4. Chipcard reader
5. Ear clip for heart rate receiver
6. Selection switch 1
7. Selection switch 2
8. Selection switch 3
9. Selection switch 4
10. LCD screen

LCD screen
The control panel (Fig. 2) contains an LCD screen. During the preparations for a training session the
control panel displays the menu. During the session itself it shows the various parameters and a graphical
representation of the session.

Menus
The Crosswalker is menu-driven. In the menu you can select various training modes. The Crosswalker
can be operated with the switches and the rotary button on the control panel. You will find a detailed
explanation of the various menus in chapters 5 to 10 of these Instructions.

Heart rate monitoring
There are 3 ways of monitoring the heart rate:
