12. Disposal
Empty, completely flat batteries must be disposed of through specially designated collection boxes,
recycling points or electronics retailers. You are legally required to dispose of the batteries.
The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful substances:
Pb = Battery contains lead
Cd = Battery contains cadmium
Hg = Battery contains mercury
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of
its service life. Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point in your country.
Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste
disposal.

13. What if there are problems?
If the scale encounters an error during measurement, the following is displayed:

Solution
Briefly apply pressure to the scale and select
the user on the scale using the " " button
or repeat user assignment in the app.
See chapter 10 "Additional information".
Please repeat the measurement barefoot, or
with the soles of the feet lightly dampened if
necessary.
If
is still displayed, you are outside the
measurable range.
Loads must be limited to 180 kg.
Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.
Do not use on carpet. If used on carpet, use
the supplied feet for carpet.
Stand as still as possible.
Wait until the scale switches itself off. Briefly
apply pressure to the scale until "0.0" appears.
Then repeat the measurement.
