7 Maintenance
The instructions in this chapter are intended as minimum requirements. Depending
on the operating conditions, further instructions may be required to maintain the filter
unit in an ideal state.
The stated intervals are related to single shift operation.
Only the operator's specially trained staff may perform the servicing tasks described
in this section.
− Any spare parts used must correspond to the technical requirements set by
Kemper GmbH. This is always the case with original replacement parts.
− Ensure that supplies and replaced parts are disposed of properly and in an
environmentally friendly manner!
− Follow the safety instructions on the following pages!
7.1 Care/Service
Safe operation of the filter system will be positively influenced with regular upkeep,
maintenance and monitoring.
The upkeep/maintenance of the filter system is essentially limited to the discharge of
the condensate from the pressurised air container, monitoring settings, visual control
of damage or leaks, as well as cleaning the outer surfaces.
WARNING
− Skin contact with dust etc. can lead to skin irritation in sensitive
individuals!
− Severe damage to health of respiratory organs and the respiratory
tract!
− Please wear protective clothing, gloves and a fan-respiratory
protection system e.g. KEMPER autoflowXP or a filter respirator
mask of class FFP2 as per EN 149 in order to avoid inhalation of
dusts.
−
During cleaning, releasing dangerous dust must be avoided, so that
none of those entrusted with the task are injured.
Information
− Do not clean the filter unit with compressed air; this is how dust
and/or contaminated particles can reach the ambient air.
−
Ensure there is adequate lighting for maintenance tasks.
You must check the level in the dust collection container at regular intervals and
change it as necessary.
