▪ Do not reach into the appliance when it is in operation.
▪ Also keep long hair, for example, away from the insertion opening.
▪ Do not insert objects such as spoons, for example, into the insertion opening when the appliance is
in operation.
▪ Do not move the appliance during operation.
▪ The blades will continue to rotate after the appliance has been switched off. Wait until they stop
moving before handling the appliance.
▪ Never touch the blades of the cutting inserts.
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the appliance may lead to damage.
▪ Do not add any boiling hot liquids.
▪ Do not fill with any hard foods such as coffee beans, candied sugar, bones, nut shells, etc., or any
frozen food.
▪ Do not place the appliance on surfaces which are sensitive to water. Water sprays can damage
such surfaces.

Safety function

The food processor has a built-in safety function. The appliance only works if it is completely and
correctly assembled.

Setting up and connecting

▪ Remove all packaging from the appliance.
▪ Clean the appliance (see the chapter entitled "Cleaning and maintenance").
▪ Set up the appliance on a stable and level surface near to a plug socket.
▪ Ensure that the operating switch (6) is set to O (off).
▪ Plug the mains plug into an earthed wall socket that has been installed pursuant to regulations.
▪ If the power cord is too long, you can roll it up inside the base of the motor (5).

Use
To chop meat, bread and vegetables.
To prepare strips of vegetables
Both discs have a blade on one side (e.g. good for
chopping pickles) and
a grater on the other (e.g. for potato fritters). The
required tool must be pointing upwards when
inserted.
For mixing dough (e.g. yeast dough)
