CMT400-1 ADAPTOR CHUCK DESCRIPTION AND USE AA
Description of the CMT400-1 adaptor chuck
The adaptor chuck consists in a duralumin centering bush and a Ø9mm diameter chuck shaft with
a Ø8mm hole for fitting drill bits.
The drilling shank is positioned in the centering bush, where the bearings ensure maximum precision.
For tightening, there is a spring and a stop ring fixed held with a screw.
Drilling depth is set with the stop ring; for drilling depth range see (Fig. 1). To facilitate drilling depth
setting, there is a gauge with a 5mm scale (Fig. 1).
