4.1 Preparing for assembly

4.1.1 Applying/removing the footshell

NOTICE
Damage may be caused by improperly inserting the foot into the
footshell. Please do not use a screwdriver to insert / remove the carbon
foot into / from the footshell as this can cause damage to the carbon
elements and / or footshell.
NOTICE
Risk of damage as a result of improper use. The footshell must not be
dusted with talcum powder inside as this would increase abrasion. Use
silicone spray if need be. Replace the footshell if it becomes damaged
or worn.
