- As there are several hazardous situations, the supplier recommends that any and all precautions required to avoid any
hazardous situation be taken, including any precautions that are not stated in this Manual or in the warnings attached to the
jack.

4. PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

CAUTION: Packaging, lifting, handling, transport and unpacking operations should only be carried out by trained
staff who are fully familiar with the lifting equipment being used and this manual and use appropriate Personal
Protection Devices.
- Packaging: The jack is shipped on a wood platform, wrapped in a sheet of plastic material and cardboard, and sealed
with two straps. The overall weight of the packed jack is approximately 250 kg.
- Lifting and handling: The wood platform (one pack) can be lifted with both lift trucks and cranes. If the latter are used,
they should always be secured with at least 2 slings. NB: The chosen apparatus should be suitable for safe lifting and
shifting, considering the dimensions, weight, centre of gravity, projections and delicate parts that should not be damaged.
