Use
3.1
Prerequisites
The mask/helmet combination needs to be carefully adapted to the
equipment wearer (correct mask size, retaining plate settings and in-
ternal helmet components) due to the rigid structure.

Preparations for use
The mask bodies are available in sizes S, M, L, inner masks in sizes
1, 2 and 3. In most cases, a facepiece of standard size M2 is used. If
leak tightness is a problem, a facepiece sized S or L should be used.
Mask/helmet
Adjust the full face mask fixing and the inner fittings of
combination
the helmet.
WARNING
!
In order that the facepiece is sealed, the full face mask fixing
and inner fittings must be adjusted accurately.
The mask might be incompatible and/or leaky when worn on
an unusually shaped head.
1. Install mask goggles, if necessary.
2. Remove protective film from visor.
3. Before using the facepiece for the first time, check that it is leak-
tight (see "Leak tests" on page 28).
4. Fully open head strap kit.
Full face
5. Place support strap around the neck and fasten it

in retrieval position (Figure B on page 3), if neces-
sary.
