Verify you are using a program which allows for auxiliary, or Aux, input to your
Neptune system.

Verify the FM transmitter and/or external audio device are powered.
4.
Verify your FM receiver has been programmed for use with your processor. You
may need to consult with your FM professional.
If these measures do not resolve the problem, contact your clinician or Advanced
Bionics for further assistance.
Troubleshooting Neptune Indicator Lights
The Neptune LED is a programmable feature which provides diagnostic information
regarding battery life, program setting, microphone function, or processor system
status. Refer to the 'Understanding Neptune LEDs' section of the User Guide for an
explanation of the expected LED behavior(s).
If no lights appear:
1.
Check that the LED is not obscured by the user's clothing, hair, and/or processor
wearing device (e.g., pouch, harness, clip).
2.
Verify that the battery is inserted properly within the processor.
3.
Replace the battery.
4.
Check that the processor is turned "on."
If green LED does not fl ash in response to loud sounds
(programmable feature):
1.
Confi rm that this feature is enabled on your processor/program.
2.
Verify that the battery is charged and is inserted properly within the processor.
3.
Check sensitivity setting, or try increasing it slightly for assessment purposes only.
4.
Try another program slot.
5.
Unaided listeners may perform a listening check of the headpiece microphone
as described in the 'Listening to the Microphone and FM Receiver' section of the
User Guide.
6.
Try another audio source (such as an auxiliary microphone or MP3 player).
a.
You will need a program which accepts input from external audio sources.
b.
If the green LED fl ashes in response to input from an external audio device,
place your processor and headpiece in your Zephyr by Dry & Store®. If the
green LED still does not fl ash in response to loud sounds following a full
drying cycle and when using your headpiece microphone and usual program
settings, proceed to next step.
7.
Replace the headpiece and/or cable.
