• The round brass brush, on the other hand, is particularly effective for cleaning metallic surfaces such as tiled floors,
cooking grates, metal doors, metal frames etc.
• Both brushes can also be used very suitably for removing grease on pans, cooking hobs and in ovens. You can also
use them together with soap or cleaning agents in dirty areas.
• For more convenience when cleaning with the hand vapour device, use the practical carrying belt.
Putting the further accessories together
1.
Remove the spray jet.
2.
Insert the corresponding end of the telescope hose in the intended opening on the main part of the device until
it locks in the device (Figure 11)
NOTE: Ensure before use that the telescope hose is firmly placed in its anchoring.
WINDOW CLEANING FIXTURE (ABBR. V+W)
1.
Extend the rubber band on the microfibre window cleaning cloth and apply it on the intended hook on the frame
of the window cleaning fixture.
NOTE: Do not cover the suction power sheet. Use all hooks on the frame of the window cleaning fixture to fasten
the cloth. This prevents the cloth from moving during use or falling off the frame (Figure 12).
2.
Connect the window cleaning fixture with the telescope hose. In doing so, align the lock head on the telescope
hose towards the associated opening on the frame of the window cleaning fixture. Insert the telescope hose in
the opening until it locks in (Figure 13).
TEXTILE CLEANING FIXTURE (ABBR. W+X)
1.
To use the window cleaning fixture to clean textiles, fasten the microfibre textile vapourisation cloth on the
window/textile fixture (Figure 14).
2.
Connect the window cleaning / textile cleaning fixture with the telescope hose. In doing so, align the lock head
on the telescope hose towards the associated opening on the frame of the window / textile cleaning fixture.
Insert the telescope hose in the opening until it locks in (Figure 15).
DUST FIXTURE
(ABBR. U+T)
1.
Apply the microfibre dust cloth on the dust removal fixture (Figure 16).
2.
Connect the dust removal fixture with the telescope hose. In doing so, align the lock head on the telescope hose
towards the associated opening on the frame of the dust removal fixture. Insert the telescope hose in the opening
until it locks in (Figure 17).
Using the hand vapour cleaner
NOTE: Ensure that the device is unplugged.
1.
Fill the water tank with water (see Section: Using the UV MOP). Screw on either the round nylon brush or the
round brass brush (see Section: Putting the hand vapour cleaner together).
2.
As soon as the device has been fully put together and filled with water, insert the mains adapter in an earthed
socket. Operate the mains switch (O/I) and thereby put the device from position OFF (O) to position ON (I).
3.
After about 30 seconds open the vapour controller and adjust the vapour to your needs. Select one of the
following settings on the vapour control: position left - low, position central - medium, position right - high. You
can adjust the vapour output at any time during use with the vapour control. The mop will then start to emit
vapour. To stop the vapour emission, close the vapour control and switch the device to the position OFF (O) with
the use of the mains switch (O/I). If you switch the mains switch (O/I) to position ON (I) and wait for less than 30
seconds before you operate the vapour control, water that is still in the mop from the last use cannot be heated.
This water can then be pushed out by the vapour occurring and cause puddles. This can also occur if you put the
mains switch to OFF (O) and simply pull the mains adapter without previously closing the vapour control.
4.
Move the device slowly over the surface to be cleaned.
5.
As soon as the hand device stops to release vapour, fill the water tank and continue the cleaning.
Note: Because of the automatic steam-stop function, which is activated after about 5 seconds, you
need to keep moving the handheld steam cleaner.
6.
After every use, ensure that the device is switched OFF and the mains adapter is disconnected from the socket
so that it is completely SWITCHED OFF before the next use.
