TIP: To make work surfaces, kitchen surfaces, wash basins, bathrooms, etc. hygienically clean, let the vapour cleaner
work in one position for about 15 seconds.
NOTE:
• Do not use the hand vapour machine on heat- and vapour-resistant materials The power and temperature of the
vapour could have a negative impact on some materials. For that reason, always first test at a non-visible location to
thereby ensure that the surface cannot be damaged by its use.
• Do not use the hand vapour device for cleaning leather, furniture treated with tax, waxed floors, synthetic materials,
velvet or other vapour-sensitive materials.
WINDOW CLEANING FIXTURE
NOTE: Ensure that the device is unplugged.
1.
Fill the water tank with water (see Section: Using the UV MOP).
2.
Apply the window cleaning cloth on the window cleaning fixture and place the window cleaning fixture on the
telescope hose (see Section: Putting the further accessories together).
3.
Switch the device on and adjust the vapour control (see Section: Using the hand vapour cleaner - from Item 2)
4.
Hold the hand vapour cleaner in one hand and take the handle of the telescope hose in the other hand (Figure 18).
5.
Push the cleaner slowly over the glass to be cleaned (or similar surfaces). Use sufficient vapour in doing so. The
suction window cleaning cloth absorbs the dirt, which was loosened from the vapour cleaner and the suction
sheet removes the residues of water. Prepare a cloth in order to brush off excess water that may occur.
TIP: When cleaning windows, use the lowest steam setting possible.
NOTE: Never pull too much on the telescope hose. This may result in vapour coming out.
NOTE: RISK OF SCALDING
Never tough the window cleaning fixture or the window cleaning cloth during use. The corresponding parts get extre-
mely hot. Hold the telescope hose away from your body and avoid touching the hose. It also gets very hot.
6.
If the hand vapour cleaner stops releasing vapour, switch it off and disconnect the mains adapter. Fill the water
tank and continue cleaning.
7.
If you are finished cleaning, let the window cleaning cloth dry and remove it from the window cleaning fixture. In
doing so, proceed carefully, as the cloth may still be hot.
NOTE:
• Never use vapour to clean frozen windows.
• Be cautious when using the cleaner on glass panes, as they may split.
TEXTILE CLEANING FIXTURE
NOTE: Ensure that the device is unplugged.
1.
Fill the water tank with water (see Section: Using the UV MOP)
2.
Apply the washing vapourisation cloth on the window cleaning / textile cleaning fixture and place the window
cleaning / textile cleaning fixture on the telescope hose (see Section: Putting the further accessories together)
3.
Switch the device on and adjust the vapour control (see Section: Using the hand vapour cleaner - from Item 2)
NOTE: Never use the strongest settings on the vapour control if you are using the textile cleaning fixture. You can adjust
the vapour output at any time during use with the vapour control.
4.
Hold the hand vapour cleaner in one hand and take the handle of the telescope hose in the other hand (Figure 19).
5.
To clean a piece of textile, hang it on a hanger and vapourise it directly. Guide the hand vapour cleaner slowly
from bottom to top. You can also carry out the movement in the other direction, i.e. from bottom to top. Curtains
can also be cleaned while hanging.
