A common maintenance need for steam appliances is the
removal of build-up caused by high mineral content in many
municipal water supplies. This mineral build-up may limit the
effectiveness and reduce the life of your Everyday Sweeper
Steamer.
The best way to minimize mineral build-up is to use distilled or
de-mineralized water. It is recommended to clean the unit at
least once a month in order to remove any deposits that form.
This will help to extend the life of your Everyday Sweeper
Steamer and maximum performance.
To remove mineral build-up:
1. Press Steam Power Button to Off (the red Steam Indicator
Light will turn off).
2. Remove Microfiber Pad from Sweeper Steamer Head.
3. Place Resting Pad on top of an absorbent cloth, then place
Sweeper Steamer Head on top of Resting Pad to absorb
the emitted steam during the cleaning process. Be sure the
surface can withstand high temperatures as Resting Pad will
be hot.
NOTE: The cleaning process creates an unpleasant vinegar
odor. You may prefer to clean your Everyday Sweeper Steam-
er in the garage or in a location with good ventilation.

remaining in Water Tank into a sink or tub.
5. Pour 10 oz. (295 ml.) of distilled vinegar into Water Tank and
reinstall Water Tank Cap.
6. Press Steam Power Button to turn unit On.
7. Allow vinegar solution to completely run through the unit
while resting on Resting Pad.
NOTE: This will take approximately 25 minutes before the
Water Tank is empty.
8. Refill Water Tank with fresh distilled water, and repeat pro-
cess until vinegar odor dissipates.
9. Once Sweeper Steamer Head has cooled, use a damp cloth
to wipe off any remaining white residue on the unit.
The Everyday Sweeper Steamer is now clean and ready for
use or storage.
