7. Working life

7.9.2 Commissioning a lifting column with an external controller

•
Test the safe state of lifting column 1.
•
Connect the lead 2 for the external controller either
to a RKMultiControl mono- or to a RKMultiControl
duo controller (see controller user manual).
•
If applicable, connect a second lifting column to the
controller.
•
Connect the hand switch to the controller (see con-
troller user manual).
•
Plug the mains lead into mains connection 3.
•
Set the lifting column sequence (see controller user
manual).
•
Carry out an initialisation run (see controller user ma-
nual).
•
Note when raising and lowering the lifting column
that this operates the limit switch and at the same
time switches the lifting movement off in the top and
bottom end positions.
