Measuring your weight and
starting an analysis
Caution:
Pregnant women and persons with
implanted medical devices such as pace
makers must not use these scales.
Important:
To ensure correct measurement, the skin of
your feet, calves and thighs must not meet.
Only step on the scales with bare feet,
o therwise the analysis measurement will not
work and only the weight will be displayed.
Important:
The scales automatically calibrate when
switched off.
To ensure a correct reading, do not move
the scales after switching off.
The measuring results shown on the scale
are all individual values and must not be
added together. Otherwise the total will
exceed 100%.
Any saved data will not be deleted if the
battery is changed. Without batteries, the
time and date are stopped so you may
have to make corrections after changing
the battery. Days on which the scale has no
batteries will not be included in the analysis
graphic.
The scales automatically identify the users
based on their weight (deviations of +/ 5%
possible). You do not need to turn them on.
Just step on the scales with bare feet and
stand still while the symbol
border around it in the display (figure C).
Distribute your weight evenly between both
legs.
Several different situations can occur
as described here (user detection) for
d isplaying the measured values.

If "." appears in the display instead
of the values, the measurement was
unsuccessful.
Please carry out the measuring procedure
again.
Note: Very dry skin and/or thick calluses
can produce false results. The measure

your feet are of a normal skin moisture
or slightly moist. To keep from slipping,
however, never use the scales with wet

Information:
If gaps appear in the curves, then analyses
or weight measurements were not carried
out for one or more days.
If a user carries out measurements multiple
times per day, only the last measurement
will appear. This allows you to correct an
incorrect measurement.
In addition, you can call up the one or
tenyear view for each 30 days analysis
overview by pressing the SET button.
For an annual overview, the average value
of the previous 15 days of measurements is
calculated and displayed. For the 10year
view the same thing is done in 90day
periods.
If M is shown against a dark background,
you can call up the last 30 values.
■ Press the SET button to display the last
measured value.
■ Press the navigation button ◄ to display
additional values in order of date.
