The tool is supplied with the battery partially charged; prior to initial
use, it must be recharged according to the instructions in the battery
charger user manual.

3.1) Pressing jaw assembly
Remove the battery from the tool before mounting or
replacing the jaws.
Choose the appropriate jaw for the operation to be carried out based
on the profi le and diameter of the joint to be pressed, as indicated in
the instructions provided by the joint manufacturer. Make sure that the
joint is suitable for the diameter and material of the pipe being used.
To achieve a perfect pressfi t, it is essential that the
correct jaw is used for the joint to be pressed. Use of
unsuitable jaws can lead to excessive or insuffi cient pressure,
resulting in the joint being non-watertight and thus unusable.
Press the locking pin and turn it to the right to release it into the fully
open position (Fig. f).
Insert the jaws into the support head until the hole is aligned with the
locking pin.
Push the pin right in and turn it to the left to lock it (Fig. f).
Before starting the tool, make sure the locking pin is
correctly inserted and locked.
A partially locked pin may cause the tool to be damaged!
3.2) Pressing jaw positioning
The jaws can be rotated 340° to allow the operator maximum freedom
of position (Fig. g).
Open the jaws by hand by pressing at the rear top and bottom.
Position the jaws around the joint, ensuring the correct alignment of
the pressing jaw with the joint, closely following the manufacturer's
instructions (Fig. i).
3.3) Pressing procedure
During tool operation, keep your hands away from the
pressing jaws! Failure to comply with this warning can
lead to serious physical injury
Hold the tool fi rmly with both hands, ensuring that the jaws work at
90° to the joint.
Press the power button to start the pressing procedure (Fig. l) and keep
it held down until the motor switches off automatically; the automatic
switch-off of the motor ensures the calibrated pressure has been
reached, to guarantee the necessary pressing force (Fig. m).
After the motor switches off, before releasing the power
button, carry out a visual check to ensure the pressing
jaws have closed completely around the joint. The jaws must
be completely closed to guarantee a correct pressing (Fig. m).
