ASSEMBLY
The bouncing chair needs to be assembled before being used.
1. Rotate the legs outwards and connect them to the seat as seen
in Diagram 1. This operation can only be performed by inserting the
legs in a specific direction to avoid errors. Check that the metal pin
sticks out of the relative holes correctly (Diagram 2). You will hear
it click into place; try and pull it out to make sure it is fitted cor-
rectly. Also make sure that the bouncing chair carrier handles are
on the outside of the frame (diagram 3).
2. The booster cushion C is ideal for use from birth and can be re-
moved as required later on. To fasten it to the seat, place it on the
seat and around the crotch strap as indicated in Diag. 4. See also
the "BOOSTER CUSHION" paragraph.
Position the head rest CC at the desired height, thread the strap
through the slot on the chair and fasten in place using the velcro
fastener as indicated in Diag. 5.
3. Fasten the toy bar on the structure, slotting it into the relative
fixture. Make sure the toy bar is fitted correctly (diagram 6).
4. To fasten the toy D to the bar, thread the fabric strap through the
slots on the top of the bar, paying ATTENTION that the closure of
the velcro is facing downwards. Check that the velcro fasteners are
closed correctly. (diagram 7).
USING THE SAFETY HARNESS
5. Release the safety harness by pressing the centre button on the
buckle and at the same part extract the other part of the buckle
by pressing the prongs together (diagram 8). The bouncing chair is
now ready for your baby
When using the chair, remember to always fasten the harness
straps threading them through the crotch strap and always check
they are tight enough and in the right position-
The length of the harness straps can also be adjusted from behind
the backrest.
6. Take hold of one end of the buckle and then pull the strap to the
desired length as seen in diagram 9.
RECLINING THE BACKREST
7. To adjust the backrest, turn the side fixtures (diagram 10) and
raise/lower it to the desired position: block the side fixtures in place
by turning them in the opposite direction (diagram 11). This opera-
tion can be done with the baby sitting in the bouncing chair. It will
however be slightly more difficult. Always support the backrest
with one hand whilst adjusting the height.
ADJUSTING THE FOOT-REST
8. It is possible to adjust the foot-rest to two different positions:
LOW POSITION: press the buttons on the front fixtures whilst
pushing the foot-rest downwards (diagram 12). You will hear it click
into place when it is fitted correctly.
HIGH POSITION: repeat the operation above in the opposite di-
rection. That is, press the buttons whilst pushing the foot-rest
upwards (diagram 13). Once again you will hear it click into place
when fitted correctly.
FIXED OR ROCKING MODE
9. The bouncing chair can also be used in rocking mode. Simply
rotate the rear handle, in the middle of the legs A, following the
indications of the arrow (diagram 14). When you want to use the
bouncing chair normally again, turn the handle in the opposite di-
rection (diagram 15).
BOOSTER CUSHION
The bouncing chair comes with a shaped booster cushion.
10. Place the booster cushion C on the bouncing seat, threading
the crotch strap around the booster cushion, as indicated in dia-
gram 4.
11. Position the head rest CC at the desired height, thread the strap
through the slot on the chair and fasten in place using the velcro
fastener as indicated in Diag. 5.
REMOVABLE COVERS
It is possible to remove the slip cover and the booster cushion to
wash them.
12. Remove the booster cushion.
13. Remove the safety harness from the slots in the fabric and re-
move the slip cover from the front, starting from the foot-rest (dia-
gram 16). Open the Velcro fastener underneath then slide the cover
over the backrest. To refit the slip cover, proceed in the opposite
order, paying ATTENTION that the lower fabric cord is threaded
through the backrest adjustment fixtures (diagram 17).
WARNING: REFIT THE SAFETY HARNESS MAKING SURE THE
STRAPS ARE CORRECTLY THREADED THROUGH THE SLOTS IN
THE FABRIC.
*The theme of the removable toys varies according to the colour
coordination chosen.
