Congratulations for choosing one of our quality products. Please follow these instructions carefully and keep them with
you.
Product description
This high tension insect exterminator eliminates in approved manner flying insects. If insects fly near the device, they are
going to be pumped trough the ventilator and destroyed.

Connection to power line
The device is designed for an operating voltage of 230 Volt~. Assure yourself before plugging the mains plug of the
device into the mains socket of your house installation of the fact that the operating voltage of your house installation
complies with this voltage.
Putting into operation
1. The blue-light lamp attracts flying insects. Do not position the device too close to other light sources. The darkest
place in the room to be protected is in general the most suitable. Position the device with some distance to humans
and foods in order to eliminate the possibility for insects to be able to come to close to them. When applying the device
close the doors and windows, if possible.
2. Do not position the device in front of an open window or an open door as the insects do not stay in the area of draught
air.
Switching on the device
After connecting the device to the power socket of your house installation press the switch (located in the central part of
the connection cable) to „I" in order to be able to put the device into operation.
Safety instructions
1. The device is nothing for children's hands. Therefore, keep it correspondingly.
2. Position the device on a firm ground.
3. Arrange the device in such manner where it is out of the reach of children.
4. The device is not suitable for the application in agricultural buildings as cots, barns etc. It is also not suitable for the
application in industrial companies as foods companies, butcheries etc.
5. The device is only suitable for the application in indoor rooms.
6. Before each connection of the device to the mains-operated check the electric supply line for damages. Damaged
electric supply lines must immediately be replaced by an expert repair shop in order to prevent dangers.
7. Never operate the device when it shows any damages.
8. Never use the device diverted from its intended use.
9. The device is not suitable for the application in rooms with easily inflammable liquids, explosive gases and dusts.
10. Never grasp into the device with any objects.
11. Never carry out any repair works on the device.
12. For the cleaning and care of the device observe unconditionally the notes of this instruction manual.
Attention: In its working condition the device generates "high voltage". Hang up the device on the ring which is
attached to the device, in a way that the device is out of the reaching area of the hands. Do not use,
place or hang up the device within the reaching area of the hands.
Warning: For environmental reasons outdoor use is prohibited because beneficial insects could be killed.
Cleaning and care
Open the black grid by pushing the small handle downwards and removing it.
It is recommended to empty the device in weekly intervals.
Attention:
Before emptying or cleaning respectively the device must be separated from the mains-
operated by pulling the mains plug. Should flies keep sticking on the grid remove them
only with a soft brush. For reasons of electric safety never apply water or any other liquids
for the cleaning process. Only use a dry, lint-free cloth as well as a dry and soft brush.

Replacing the illuminant
1. Disconnect the device from the electric power supply and check whether it is zero-potential.
2. Unscrew the six screws on the rear side and remove the cover. This will be easier if the collecting dish is removed
first.
3. Loosen the illuminant carefully out of the clamp which is attached on the lower part of the illuminant. Pull old illuminant
carefully at the base and take it out of the holder and
replace it by new illuminant with same value. Now, press carefully the illuminant back
into the clamp and retighten the grid fixation. (If you remove the collecting dish, remember to refit it again afterwards).
Warning notice:
if the lamp is broken or cannot be unscrewed, please consult an authorised specialist dealer.

liability for resulting damages.

General information
1. Electric appliances, packaging material etc. should be kept away from children.
2. Dispose packaging and worn out material correctly and in an environmentally friendly way.
3. Do only pass on the device including the operation manual.
4. Subject to change of design and technical data without notice for the sake of constant product improvement.
Guarantee
We grant a two year guarantee for this device. Guarantee includes repair of all defects that were not caused by defective
material or fabrication mistakes. Guarantee does not apply on wearing parts (for example illuminant). Since ISOTRONIC
has no influence on correct and appropriate assemblage and operation it is obvious that guarantee applies only on
completeness and proper condition. ISOTRONIC takes on neither liability nor guarantee for damages or consequential
damages in connection with this product. This applies especially when the device was altered or repaired, when circuits
were changed or non-original spare parts were used or when damage was caused by false or negligent operation or
abuse.

Environmental protection notice
At the end of its life span this product may not be disposed as normal household waste but must be disposed of at a
collecting place for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The icon on the product, in the manual, or on the
packing points to this fact. The materials are recyclable according to their labelling. Through reusing, material recycling,
or other forms of utilisation of old devices you make an important contribution to the protection of the environment.
Please ask the local administration for the responsible waste disposal centre.
