Los embalajes utilizados para el transporte deben ser
retirados tal y como se indica en el siguiente procedimiento.
2.1.4.- Desembalaje.
Durante esta operación respetar las indicaciones (FRÁGIL,
ARRIBA) impresas en el embalaje para evitar posibles daños
al SAI.
Para desembalar el equipo proceder de la siguiente manera
(ver fig. 2.1):
-
Situar el equipo en el suelo tal y como se indica en el
embalaje (ARRIBA, ABAJO).
-
Retirar la tapa y las partes laterales del embalaje de
madera.
-
Retirar el envoltorio de celofán usado como protección
del embalaje.
-
Introducir las palas de la carretilla elevadora bajo el SAI
y, una vez elevado unos centímetros del suelo,
trasladarlo y depositarlo en su ubicación definitiva. El
SAI se suministra con ruedas para facilitar los últimos
movimientos en su lugar de instalación.

No tirar el embalaje, ya que puede ser necesario de
nuevo para reembalar el equipo en caso de retorno a
fábrica o ser enviado a centros de mantenimiento o
para propósitos de desguace.

Comprobar que el equipo no ha sido dañado. En caso
contrario, contactar inmediatamente con su
representante de ventas.
2.1.5.- Almacenamiento.
En el caso de que el equipo no sea instalado inmediatamente,
debe ser almacenado en un sitio adecuado para protegerlo
de
humedades excesivas y de fuentes de calor elevadas (ej.:
+5 a +40 °C, y humedad inferior al 95 % sin condensar).
Si se suministra el armario de baterías, asegurarse
que no han pasado más de 6 meses desde la última
recarga. Una vez transcurrido dicho periodo conectar el SAI
a la red y ponerlo en marcha el tiempo necesario para
recargar las baterías.
Ver parágrafo 2.5 - Conexión provisional para permitir la

The cases utilized to transport the equipment must be
unpacked as specified by the procedure stated below.
2.1.4.- Packing material removal.
During this operation observe the indications (FRAGILE, UP)
printed on the case to avoid damaging the UPS.
To remove the packing material proceed in the following
manner (see Fig. 2.1):

Place the equipment on the floor as instructed on the
outer case (UP, DOWN).

Remove the cover and the side parts of the wooden
crate.

Remove the cellophane wrapping utilized as protec-
tion packing.
-
Slide the forks of the lift truck under the UPS and after
having lifted it a few centimeters from the floor, back
up and lay it down. UPS is provided with wheels to
easily move it around.

Do not throw away the packing material in that it might
be used again to repack the equipment if having to
send it back or to send it to maintenance centers or for
removal purposes.

Check that the equipment has not been damaged. If
otherwise immediately contact the Sales Representa-
tive.
2.1.5.- Storage.
Should the equipment not be installed immediately it must
be stored in a room so as to protect it against excessive
humidity
and against very high heat sources i.e., +5° to +40°C, and
humidity not lower than 95% and moistureless.
If battery cubicle is supplied, make sure that not more
than 6 months pass from the time the battery had last
been recharged. After such period temporarily connect
the UPS to mains and activate it for the time required to
recharge the batteries.
