If the piston cannot reach the position or range, as e.g. the
working pressure has been switched off, this will result in
increased valve wear.

Always also witch off the power supply after the working
pressure has been turned off.

If necessary, install a pressure switch in the air supply for
the positioning cylinder.
The friction characteristics of the cylinder and the driven
system influence the positioning precision.
