INFORMATION
When the protector is installed, the battery charger cable has to point to the upper closure. A
correct knee joint charging process is only ensured with this alignment.

6.1 Adapting the Protector

6.1.1 Shortening the Protector – Preliminary Shortening
1) Remove the prosthesis from the residual limb.
2) Remove the shoe from the prosthetic foot.
3) Loosen the foot connection cap of the prosthetic foot.
4) Check whether the closures on the protector are properly fastened and the protector is not
twisted.
