1. Lift and remove the pressure pad weight.
2. Remove the brush from the brush tank.
3. Soak the brush in warm water for approximately one minute.
4. Replace the brush in the tank with the bristles arching away from the cutting blade.
See Figure C.

5. Remove the water bottle from its holder and fill it approximately 2/3 full with water.
6. Replace the bottle in the holder with the spout inserted into the water regulator.
7. Let the water in the brush tank reach the correct level for your specific operation.
See page 11 for these specifications.
8. Replace the pressure pad weight.
The machine is now ready to use.
