Please clean the switch panel only with a soft
and damp-dry cloth.
By extractor hoods with a glass pane beneath
the metal grease filter ("Perimeter Extraction")
fatty deposits can occur on the edge of the
glass pane. These deposits are founded
physically and represent no dysfunction of the
extractor hood. Please clean the glass pane
beneath the filter regularly to prevent stubborn
soiling.

fire risk please clean the metal filter regularly.
The metal grease filter must be cleaned every

Attention: do not use 3-phase-cleaners or
clean the filter in a commercial dishwasher.
The use of aggressive cleaners like fuel,
acetone, trichlorethylene destroys the filter!
Reinstate the
metal filter after the cleaning.
By models using the "Perimeter Extraction"
method the pane has to be brought
afterwards in its original position. Therefore
please press the pane with both hands
upwards to a certain extent (lock in of the
pane).
Exchange of the active carbon
filter
(only extractor hoods with circular air – version D)
Active carbon filters bundle up odorous
substances which are contained in the
kitchen fume. According to the strain of work
this filter has to be exchanged after 3-6
months.
The active carbon filter is often mounted on a
frame sitting below the ventilator module. For
the exchange of the active carbon filter turn
both black toggle screws around 90 degrees.
After flapping down the pane and taking out
the frame the filter can be changed easily. The
installation is made in reverse order.
By some extractor hoods the active carbon
filter is directly mounted on the metal filter.
After the removal of the metal filters take the
charcoal filter out and substitute it by a new
one. Important: please do not clean the active
carbon filter with water or any other liquid.
