• Surfaces to be glued should be at room temperature and be free of dust,
grease and moisture. Residues of wax, separating oils, plasticizers or imp-
regnation media on the workpieces can cause the bond to loosen immedi-
ately or later on.
• pply the hot melt adhesive in either dot or bead form. Large dots retain
their adhesive strength for longer than small ones. Firmly press the materi-
als together straight away for several seconds.
• Slow, continuous extrusion will ensure that the glue does not fall below
application temperature.

Breaks/end of work
Turn the device off at the power switch (5) if you do not require any repair
material for longer than 20 or 25 minutes.
The adhesive can remain in the device and be remelted later on.

Changing the nozzle
Special nozzles are available for special tasks.
To change the nozzle, the unit must be warm but disconnected from the
power supply.
1. Wear heat-protection gloves to hold the unit.
2. Unscrew the nozzle (1), being careful not to pull the trigger.
3. Screw on the new nozzle hand-tight.

Maintenance
The device is maintenance-free. It is not fitted with any wear parts.

Repairs may only be carried out by trained electricians.
For your own safety, we recommend that you use our rapid and inexpensive
replacement service.

Various nozzles are available for the hot melt glue gun. Please ask your
dealer or specialist adviser for further information.

Warranty
The device has been developed and manufactured using state-of-the-art
technology. We offer all original purchasers a warranty corresponding to the
statutory requirements for function, material and manufacture. Normal wear
and tear is excluded.
The warranty ceases if incorrect handling, application of force, repair by third
parties and fitting of non-original spare parts is determined.
The warranty includes overhaul or replacement as decided by the manufac-
turer. Any warranty beyond our scope of delivery is excluded since we have
no influence on the correct and professional use of the device.
