Forward Bias
CAUTION
To avoid damages to the meter or to the devices under test, discon-
nect the circuit power and discharge all high voltage capacitors
before taking diode test.

• Make sure there is no Voltage in the circuit or device under test.
• When testing a commom silicon diode in good conditions, the voltage drop with
direct bias must be between 0.5V and 0.8V approximately, while with reverse
bias, the indication must be the overrange (OL).
