ATTENTION
When under taking maintenance operations, always
use the original parts and the adequate tools. If this
procedure is not adhered to the pump may be damaged.
ATTENTION
If the pump is used in a dirty environment the inspec-
tion and maintenance operations should be carried out
more frequently.
ATTENTION
If you as the user do not posses the necessary tools
or knowledge for these operations, please contact an
authorised distributor to carr y out the inspection and maintenance
test detailed below. If you consider yourself capable of such tests
always consult the maintenance manual.

5.2 Oil changing

The oil extraction process is very simple and quick when the
motor is hot.
1. First place a container below the exit valves to collect all dirty
oil.
2. To allow the exit flow of oil, remove the oil supply rod.
3. Remove the release screw.
4. Allow all the oil to be removed.
5. Re-screw the release screw and tighten it.
6. Add clean oil up to the required level. Casing's oil capacity:
(Consult the technical characteristics sheet).
7. Re-screw the oil supply rod. (If your hands become exposed to
motor oil, wash them with soap).

5.3 Air Filter Maintenance

If the air filter is dirty the quantity of air which reaches the carbure-
ttor will be lower. To avoid the malfunction of the latter ensure that
the necessary maintenance tests are carried out periodically on the
air filter. If the pump operates within a very dirty environment, air
filter maintenance should be undertaken more frequently.
Do not clean the air filter using a solvent with a low combustion
point, as this could combust or explode under certain circumstances.
ATTENTION
Do not operate the motor without the air filter, as this
may accelerate the breakdown of the motor due to the
intake of dust or dirt.
