TRANSPORT
Damaged or insufficiently strong hoisting devices and load slings can cause serious
injuries or even death. Always check hoists and load slings for sufficient load capacity
and perfect condition, fasten the loads carefully and never stand under suspended
loads.!
To ensure proper transport, also observe the instructions and information on the transport
packaging regarding centre of gravity, attachment points, weight, means of transport to be used
and the prescribed transport position, etc.
Transport the machine in its packaging to the installation site. To manoeuvre the machine in the
packaging, a pallet truck or forklift with appropriate lifting capacity can be used, for example. For
problem-free unloading, a forklift truck/crane with appropriate lifting equipment and qualified
personnel for operation are necessary due to the high weight. The load attachment points for lift-
ing gear should be selected as shown in the following figure (indicated by the two arrows).

ASSEMBLY
14.1 Checking Scope of Supply
Check the machine immediately after delivery for transport damage and missing parts.
14.2 The workplace
In order to guarantee the operation of the machine, the floor must have sufficient stability and
load-bearing capacity and there must be a free space around the machine of 1500mm for opera-
tion and maintenance.
The selected installation site must ensure a suitable connection to the electrical mains and to a
compressed air supply.
14.3 Assembling the machine
The machine is pre-assembled; only the parts that have been disassembled for transport and the
connection to the supply voltage and compressed air supply as well as to the dust collection sys-
tem must be made. Follow the instructions below:
