With the available Visalys
®
effect of the selected composite shade can be checked on the
slightly moist core prior to final cementation. Apply the paste
in the selected shade on the inside surfaces of the restoration
and check the shade effect on the restoration. The shade of
the Visalys
CemCore Try In Paste matches the shade of the
®
cured cementation composite.
Remove the Visalys
CemCore Try In Paste from the resto
®
ration and core surface with water.
After the tryin, the surfaces of the restoration that may be con
taminated with saliva, blood or silicone residues, for example,
have to be cleaned with water spray or in the ultrasonic bath
with distilled water and then dried with water/oil free air. All
the surfaces must be free of contamination.
In the case of restorations made of nonprecious metal or oxide
ceramics, there may be no cleaning with phosphoric acid.
A rubber dam is recommended for a dry operating field.
Pretreatment of the restoration, the root post
or the indirect core build-up
Unless prescribed otherwise in the instructions for use for the
restoration material, root post or material used for the indirect
core buildup, the following procedure should be selected for
pretreatment:
