tle jet of water / oil­free air. Visalys
is non­light curing.
The surfaces of some types of posts can be attacked by
sandblasting or hydrofluoric acid. The specifications of
the root post manufacturer on surface treatment must be
observed.

Visalys CemCore may only be used together with Visalys
®
Tooth Primer. Visalys Tooth Primer is a self­etching sin­
®
gle­component primer and can therefore be used without
additional phosphoric acid etching. Only with cementation
of veneers and adhesive bridges and with uncut enamel is
selective phosphoric acid etching necessary. Depending on
the clinical conditions, in other cases too, selective phosphoric

acid etching may be optionally performed. Use the etching
gel according to the instructions for use from the relevant
manufacturer.
1. Following the try­in of the restoration, saliva, blood and
any residues of the Visalys
be removed from the adhesive surfaces of the dental
hard substance and restorations surfaces using water
spray and then keep the surfaces dry. The adhesive sur­
faces must be free of contamination. A rubber dam is
recommended for a dry operating field.
2. Drop Visalys Tooth Primer into a preparation tray. Light
®
protection is not necessary. After applying the Visalys
Tooth Primer, start with the further processing immedi­
ately. Close primer bottle carefully after each use.
3. Apply Visalys Tooth Primer to the entire adhesive sur­
®
face of the tooth surface using a suitable applicator and
rub in for 20 sec. Any excess can be removed with a cot­
ton pellet and blown off with air. Then dry with a gentle
jet of water / oil­free air. The prepared primer should be
processed within 5 min., as constituents can evaporate.
The Visalys Tooth Primer is non light­curing.

For cementation on an implant abutment or on an indirect
core build­up, the specifications of the respective material
