Feed the connection cable through existing ducts or other openings where

Lay the monitor cable on the dashboard.
Insert the plug of the monitor cable (h 2, page 9) in the socket (h 4, page 9) of the
connection cable (h 3, page 9).
Make sure the polarity is correct when connecting to a voltage source.
Connect the red and black cables of the connection cables to a suitable
voltage source:
Connect the red cable (h 5, page 9) to terminal 15 (ignition).
Connect the black cable (h 6, page 9) to terminal 31 (earth).
If necessary, connect the DIN socket (h 7, page 9) of the connection cable to the
DIN plug (h 11, page 9) of the system cable (h 12, page 9).
Connect the DIN socket (h 13, page 9) of the system cable (h 12, page 9) of to the
DIN plug (h 14, page 9) of the camera cable.
Connect the green cable (h 9, page 9) to the positive cable of the reversing light.
If the green coloured cable is electrically charged, the monitor is automatically
switched on and camera 1 is activated.
If the monitor is to be activated by actuating the indicator, connect the white cable
(h 10, page 9) to the positive cable of the indicator.
If necessary, connect the DIN socket (h 8, page 9) of the connection cable
to camera 2 (e. RV-29-T130).
