INSTALLATION

Note:
If you test your product before installing it, make sure to not do so with the exterior panel and the moni-
tor in the same room. If you do so, the video intercom will emit a piercing sound (Larsen effect).
a. Installing the exterior panel
1. Remove the screw under the exterior panel (1).
2. Tilt the exterior panel forwards (2).
3. The lens of the panel must be placed at a height around 1.60 m.
4. Firmly attach the weather-proof shield with the screws (3) and put a silicone seal* (4) between the shield and
the wall to prevent water from running between the two. * Do not use an acetic acid-based silicone (smells like
vinegar).
5. Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram (fig. 6).
6. Fit the exterior panel (5) into its place with its weather-proof shield (6).
7. Re-install the attachment screw (7).
Important:
Do not have the camera directly exposed to the sun or facing a reflective surface.
Tip:
it is recommended that the wires be passed through a conduit to protect them from shocks and weather.
b. Installing the monitor (
1. Attach the wall bracket (2) so that the screen of the monitor will be around 1.60 m high.
2. Connect the wires coming from the exterior panel.
3. Plug in the adapter (3) to the back of the monitor (without plugging it in to the wall socket).
4. Install the monitor (1) on the wall bracket (2).
5. Plug the adapter into the 230V wall socket .
Note:
In the event that the power cord gets cut, make sure to follow the polarity when re-connecting (white side
is (+) (fig. 7)).

WIRING

In order to avoid the risks of interference and malfunction, do not pass the wire for your video intercom through
the same conduit as the electrical wires.
Warning:
Do not under any circumstances double wires to increase the wire size.
a. Connecting the video intercom
• Two 6/10 ths wires up to 25 m long
Wires to use:
• Two 1.5-mm
1. Properly connect the wires according to the wiring diagram (fig. 6).
2. To connect the camera, two wires are needed for all functions: the doorbell, the video feed, the intercom, and
the opening controls (strike plate and automated opening).
Make sure to adhere to the polarity of the wires between the screen and the exterior camera (no polarity for the
door opening controls).
• Terminal '1' of the screen to terminal '1' of the camera.
• Terminal '2' of the screen to terminal '2' of the camera.
Important:
• For wiring, refer to the labelling on the back of the monitor and on the back of the camera.
b. Connecting an electric strike plate or lock (fig. 6)
Directly connect the strike plate or lock wires to terminals 5 and 6 on the back of the camera (no polarity to
adhere to).
Note that this function is only valid if the screen is on.
