9.3 Wear and fasten the helmet (see instructions above) and make sure that the roll
neck stretch in the riding position is satisfactory.
WARNING
After assembling or disassembling the roll neck and/or adjusting the stretch, wear
and fasten the helmet to check the correct adjustment of the chin strap (see at-
tached label), the correct positioning of the helmet on the head in the riding posi-
tion and the VPS functionality in all positioning notches.

NOISE REDUCER
Removable paddings - called "Noise Reducers" - are placed next to the side areas of
the ears.
10.1 To remove the Noise Reducers from the cheek pads slightly pull them towards the
inside of the helmet to remove the three flaps from the seats on the lining of the
inner polystyrene cheek pads (Fig.25).
10.2 To place the Noise Reducers back into position disassemble the cheek pads (see
instructions above) and insert the three flaps into the relevant seats on the lining of
the inner polystyrene cheek pads (Fig.25). Then reassemble the cheek pads.
LINER POSITIONING CONTROL (LPC)
(Available as standard only for the N100-5 PLUS model).
1
ADJUSTING THE POSITION OF THE LINER
The different anatomic shape of the rider's head at times requires to adapt the position
of the helmet to the head in question. Thanks to the LINER POSITIONING CONTROL
(LPC), you can adjust the position of the liner which, considering the same size of the
helmet, allows to change the positioning of the helmet on the head with respect to the
standard one, adapting to various needs.
To adjust the linen deactivate the VPS, lift the chin guard of the helmet (see instructions
above), open the chin strap (see relevant instructions) and proceed as follows.
1.1 Turn over one side of the upper part of the padding and unhook the front snap
from the underlying longitudinal plastic support with 6 holes (Fig.26).
1.2 Move the snap along the longitudinal plastic support and hang it in one of the two
following holes (Fig.27).
1.3 Repeat the process of points 1.1 and 1.2 with the rear snap (Fig.28).
Bringing together the two adjustment snaps of the liner, the helmet is gradually
positioned higher on the head.
1.4 After having correctly hooked the two adjustment snaps of the liner to the longitu-
dinal plastic support, fold and spread the upper padding in the correct position.
1.5 Wear the helmet and ensure that the positioning and comfort suit your head. Oth-
erwise, adjust once again.
