EN
gas-, oil- or coal-fired appliances) in one room during exhaust air operation, deadly
combustion gases can be returned to the room through a negative pressure. The ope-
rator must therefore ensure an adequate supply of air at all times. The negative pres-
sure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa (0.04mbar). Do not exceed max. duct length of
5m with B-version.
Fireplace for solid fuels
The cooker hood may only be installed above a fireplace for solid fuels from which
there is a risk of fire (e.g. flying sparks) if the fireplace has a closed, non-removable
cover.
Minimum distance to cooking zone
Optimum extraction performance is achieved when the hood is mounted at a height of
at least 400 mm from the top edge of the worktop. For gas, it is also min. 400mm. In
order to prevent condensate formation, a backwater flap must be mounted directly on
the outside of the air outlet. For gas cooking appliances, the applicable installation
regulations and the installation instructions of the gas appliance manufacturer must be
observed. The cooker hood may only be installed above gas cooking zones at a mini-
mum distance of 400 mm if the following nominal heat loads (Hs) are not exceeded:
Gas stoves
Load on one cooking zone
Load on all cooking zones
Oven load
Gas hobs
Load of one cooking place
Load on all cooking zones
Air turbulence can occur in high stages with C-circulation air versions!
Before the cooker hood is shipped, it is subjected to a detailed test by our quality con-
trol department, in which all functions are tested.
