S The liquid line must be kept far from heat sources;
if this is not possible it has to be insulated.
S If the condensing unit is placed above the evaporat-
ing unit, the last segment of the intake tube (insu-
lated tube) must lean towards the condensing unit.
S If, on the other hand, the condensing unit is placed
under the conditioner it is advisable to create a trap
on the intake tube.

b) Draining operation of the refrigerating lines
The draining operation has to be performed by using
the 1/4"SAE connectors, placed on the unit on--- off
valves, through the special quality pump.
2.6 --- Water connections
During the cooling cycle part of the air humidity con-
denses on the evaporating coil. The condensate is col-
lected in the tank placed under the coil and must be
drained outside.

CONNECTOR
Condensate outlet
To drain the condensate:
S Use galvanized steel, PVC or flexible polythene
tubing.
S CAUTION: DO NOT INTERCONNECT THE
OUTLETS OF DIFFERENT MACHINES.
S Make sure there is at least a 2% gradient towards
the drain outlet.
S There must be a drain trap placed at least 30 mm
below the drain tank.
S Fill the drain trap with water, pouring it into the
condensate tank.
