4.1 Size Selection

Remove the front shell from the orthosis.
1) Only Achilles Walker: Position the heel wedge (29S35) in the liner.
2) Position the foot in the orthosis (see fig. 1). Check the position of the heel whilst doing this.
3) INFORMATION: Do not change the position of the toe protector.
4) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the liner (see fig. 2).
5) Position the front shell so it is centred on the liner (see fig. 3).
6) Close all hook-and-loop closures on the Walker one after the other, starting at the top (see
fig. 4).
Increasing compression
CAUTION
Pumping up the air cushions too much
Risk of local pressure and constriction of adjacent blood vessels and nerves due to excessively
tight application
Only fill the air cushions with enough air to impede relative movements between the body
