difficult. If this happens, move the regulator back bit by
bit to a position in which ignition takes place correctly,
and accept this as the final position. Remember that for
the ignition flame, it is better to limit the amount of air to
the amount strictly indispensable to ensure safe ignition
even in the most difficult cases.
MANUAL BURNER OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Combustion may be checked throughout the entire modulation range
by manually commanding the MPA 22 apparatus. Use the modulation
connector (B), supplied with the burner. After disconnecting the
green 4 pole socket (A) taking signals from the thermostat line or
the RWF 40 regulator, insert the connector in its place (B). Use the
+ button to increase or the - button to decrease gas and air. After
completing the control, plug the 4 pole plug (A) back in to restore
automatic modulation.
AIR REGULATION ON THE COMBUSTION HEAD
When the maximum desired flow is reachedcorrect the posi-
tion of the device which closes air on the combustion head by
moving it forward or back so that the air flow is appropriate for
the supply, with the air adjustment gate valve noticeably open
(see drawing n. 0002933310). To adjust the combustion head,
refer to table (n° 0002935990)
Check that ignition is correct because if the regulator
!
is shifted forward, the outgoing air speed may be too
high to permit ignition. If this happens, move the regu-
lator back bit by bit to a position in which ignition takes
place correctly, and accept this as the final position.
Remember that with a small flame, it is better to limit the
amount of air to the amount strictly indispensable to ensure
safe ignition even in the most difficult cases.
