ACCESSING STORED MEMORIES
1. Turn on the G6 and enter MEMO mode by pressing the PAGE/TIME but-
ton, causing MEMO to appear on the left side of the display.
2. Select the desired memory page with the AUTO
3. Select the desired memory with the numeric keypad buttons #1-7. The
square around the selected memory blinks.
DELETING ONE MEMORY
The only way to delete one memory location is to delete the entire memory
page or simply store another frequency over it.
DELETING THE CONTENTS OF A MEMORY PAGE
1. To delete a memory page turn the G6 off.
2. Press SSB until MEMO and PAGE appear in the display.
3. Use AUTO
to select the page whose contents you wish to erase.
4. Press EDIT to erase the contents. Note that the squares disappear
around the memory locations.
COPY A MEMORY PAGE
This feature enables copying memory contents from one page to another.
1. Turn the G6 off.
2. Press SSB until MEMO and PAGE appear in the display.
3. Use AUTO
to select the page whose contents you wish to copy.
4. Press/release SSB. COPY appears in the display.
5. Use AUTO
to select the page to copy to.
6. Press/release EDIT to paste it.

DELETING THE CONTENTS OF ALL
MEMORY PAGES
1. Turn the G6 off.
2. Do a long press on the numeric keypad numbers 0, 9 and 0. RST appears
in the display.
3. Press the RESET button with a paper clip.
LABELING MEMORY PAGES
Memory pages can be uniquely labeled with four, intermixed digits or let-
ters.
1. With the G6 turned on, select memory mode with the PAGE/TIME but-
ton. MEMO appears in the display.
2. Use the AUTO
buttons to select the desired memory page.
3. Press the EDIT button until '_' appears, blinking in the display (about 3
seconds).
4. Use the tuning knob to select the desired number, letter, quotation mark
or symbol.
5. Press the PAGE/TIME button to select the next '_'.
6. Repeat until 4 letters/numbers are selected.
7. Press PAGE/TIME when finished.
SETTING THE TIME ZONE
(Use this same procedure to change your time zone when
traveling).
1. With the G6 turned off, press the numeric keypad #8 button until you
see a time zone abbreviation in the display and 'Tzone' appears on the
left side.
2. Do quick, sequential presses on the 8 button, or use the tuning knob to
tune to different time zones (see the chart below).
3. Press the PAGE/TIME button once you've selected your time zone or wait
about 8 seconds and it will enter itself.
