Quick Guide
F
Note!
For further information on the motor installation and maintenance, refer to the instruction booklet supplied with it.
3 - Inverter installation and connections
F
Read the CFW11 User's Manual which is supplied with the inverter before installing, powering up or

operating the inverter.
For the Sensorless PM control (P0202=7), at the speed range of 0 to 240 rpm, the IGBTs are driven with
switching frequency of 5 kHz (regardless the value set in P0297 - switching frequency). On the CFW11 inverters
F
Note!
of mechanics E or above, derating must be applied on the output current so as to allow their operation with
switching frequency of 5 kHz - see Chapter 8 of the CFW11 User's Manual. Exception: models 0142T2 and
0180T2 when dimensioned in HD (P0298=Heavy-Duty).
Install the inverter according to Chapter 3 - Installation and Connection of the User's Manual.
g
Prepare the drive and power up the inverter according to Chapter 5 - Power-up and Start-up of the User's
g
Manual.
4 - Configuration of the inverter
The configuration through the "Oriented Start-up" results in the automatic modification of the content of
F
parameters and internal variables of the inverter regarding the control and the motor. That ensures a stable

operation of the control and maximum efficiency of the motor.
Start the parameterization through the "Oriented Start-up" Menu [02], and the main parameters
g
are displayed in a logical sequence on the HMI. During the Oriented Start-up routine, the "Config"
(configuration) status will be indicated on the top left corner of the HMI.
In order to perform the oriented start-up, follow the procedures described below by entering the motor
