Software
The Software screen allows you to view the current release version and lets you reset the Unit to factory settings.From the Setup tab, highlight
& select
to access the Software screen.
Software Release version: The software release version automatically appears on the Software screen.
Reset Software: From the Software screen, press
This feature will restore the unit to its initial factory setting. Use this feature with care, as all settings and data will be lost.
The Unit will prompt; "Are you sure?"

Miscellaneous Settings
The Misc Settings screen allows you to change miscellaneous settings including Display options, audible buzzer options, First In/First Out Quick
Store option and Auto Print options. From the Setup Tab, Highlight & Press
Display Contrast: Highlight the Contrast bar and adjust using the
Decimal Point style: Highlight and select Decimal Point, and then highlight and select the desired option from the list.
Audible Buzzer: Highlight and select Buzzer, and then highlight and select the desired option from the list.
First In/First Out Quick Store option: This option activates the first in/first out storing strategy so that only the latest 200 readings will be
stored.Highlight and select FIFO Quick Store. A check mark should appear when option is active.
Printer Width: Highlight and select Printer Width, and then highlight and select the desired option from the list.
Diagnostics: Highlight & select Diagostics. Once within the Diagnostics screen, select numbers 2 through 7 to run the corresponding
diagnostic tool.
Autoprint options: Highlight and select each option. A check mark should appear next to any option that is active.
Return to the Setup Tab: Press
View additional Misc Settings: Press
Quick Read Tab
Now that you have setup the Unit to your specific settings, you can start taking readings. From the Main Menu, highlight & select the Quick
Read tab to access the Peak, Pulse, Click or Track measurement modes as shown in Figure 10.
Take a "Quick Read" Reading
Select a "Quick Read" measurement mode: Highlight and select your desired measurement mode. This will bring you to a mode-specific
Quick Read screen similar to Figure 11, which shows a Peak Mode Quick Read screen.
NOTE: (For EXTA only) Before entering any mode-specific Quick Read screen, connect a suitable transducer to the EXTA, otherwise an error
message will be displayed. If using an Ingersoll Rand TRD or TSD transducer, or an UTA transducer, the user will automatically be brought
to the mode-specific Quick Read screen similar to Figure 11 and can start taking readings immediately. If using an I/S or H/O transducer, the
user will be first brought into a Quick Setup screen, which is described in the 'Changing the "Quick Read" Settings' section. After setting up
your I/S or H/O transducer, press

to reset the software to initial factory settings.
