Autoprint "Quick Store" Readings
While in the Peak, Pulse or Click mode Quick Store screens, the user can have the Unit autoprint every reading after each cycle to either a serial
printer or computer. Information printed will be based on the Auto Print selections made in the Misc. Settings section on page 10.
To do this, connect a suitable serial printer or Windows based computer to the Unit using a printer cable or PC cable. The cables attach to the 9
way D connector at the rear of the Unit (see diagram on page 5). Please ensure printer or computer is setup correctly according to the following
printer /data transfer settings before operation.
Printer/Data Transfer Settings: 9600 Baud, 8 Data Bits, 1 Stop Bit, No Parity, Hardware Handshaking.
Autoprint Readings: From the Peak, Pulse or Click mode Quick Store screens, press
enable the Unit to automatically send every cycle's readout data to a printer or computer.
Autostore "Quick Store" Readings
Autostoring the readings allows the User to view or print the stored readings. Statistics based on the stored readings can also be viewed or
printed.
Changing the Autostore option: In the default mode, with the

The View Readings screen allows the User to view, print & erase the stored Quick Store readings. You can also view statistics from the stored
Quick Store readings.
From any mode-specific Quick Store screen, press
A list of the currently stored readings will appear and will show the number of each reading, the torque value in the chosen Units of Measure-
ment, the direction or angle (if applicable), the status of the reading (Hi, LO or OK), the duration, the date & the time of each reading. Scroll
down the to view all readings. Scroll left and right to view additional information.
View the "Quick Store" Statistics: From the View Readings screen, press

x - Mean value of readings for both Torque and Angle or Pulse Count (if applicable).
R - Range of readings for both Torque and Angle or Pulse Count (if applicable).
σ - Standard Deviation of readings for both Torque and Angle or Pulse count (if applicable).

View the "Quick Store" Advanced Statistics: From the View Statistics screen, press
Advanced Statistics screen shows the following information for the last group of readings taken:

to return to the View Statistics screen.
NOTE: To change the size of the samples from which the statistics are based, highlight and select the "Based on Last" figure in the View
Statistics screen and key in the required number (between 0 and 200) and press

Print the "Quick Store" Readings: This will print information from the stored readings to a suitable serial printer or Windows based compu-
ter similar to the Autoprint option. From the View Readings screen, press
Export the "Quick Store" Readings directly into Microsoft Excel: To export information, including statistics, directly into an Excel file,
download the Quick_Store_Export.exe software from the Calibration Equipment section of www.ingersollrandproducts.com. Once the
software is installed and opened on your computer, simply choose the correct serial port the EXTA/EXTT is connected to, click the Capture
Button on the software and then press
automatically capture the results, open an Excel file, transfer the data into the Excel columns, display a plot graph of the results & limits and
display a simple statistical graph. The Excel file can then be saved and renamed. For this to work correctly, the Setup Tab/Misc/Printer Width
