When the dust bag is about half full, remove

the dust bag from the tool and pull the fas-

tener out. Empty the dust bag of its contents,

tapping it lightly so as to remove particles

adhering to the inside, which might hamper

further collection.

NOTE: If you connect a vacuum cleaner to your

saw, more efficient and cleaner operations can

be performed.

SECURING WORKPIECE (Fig. 5)

WARNING: It is

extremely

important

to always secure the

workpiece

properly

and tightly using a

clamp.

Failure to do so can cause the tool to be dam-

aged and/or the workpiece to be destroyed.

PERSONAL INJURY MAY ALSO RESULT. After

a cutting operation, DO NOT raises the blade

until the blade has come to a complete stop.

When cutting a long workpiece, use supports

that are as high as the top surface level of the

rotary table.

CAUTION: Do not rely solely on the vertical

clamp to secure the workpiece. Thin material

tends to sag. Support workpiece over its entire

length to avoid blade pinch and possible kick-

back.

CONNEXION TO THE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

Before switching on, make sure that the volt-

age of the main supply is the same than the

one indicated on the rating plate. This product

is designed to operate on 120V ~60Hz. Con-

necting it to any other power source may cause

damage. This tool must not be grounded. If

any questions, please contact a qualified elec-

trician.

SWITCH ACTION

To start the tool, press the switch trigger. Re-

lease the switch trigger to stop.

SLIDING SUB FENCE ADJUSTMENT (Fig. 6 & 7)

Before bevel cutting, make sure that no part of

the tool contacts the sliding fence when lower-

ing and raising the handle fully at any position

and pulling or pushing the carriage all the way

at the lowest position.

Before operating the tool, make sure that the

sliding fence is secured by the locking knob

firmly. When performing bevel cuts, slide out

the sliding fence and secure it as shown in the

figure below . Otherwise, it will contact the

blade or a part of the tool, causing possible

serious injury to the operator.

MOUNTING THE VERTICAL CLAMP

The vertical clamp can be installed on either

the left or right side of the guide fence. Insert

the vise rod into the hole in the guide fence.

Position the clamp arm according to the thick-

ness and shape of the workpiece and secure the

clamp arm by tightening the screw. If the clamp

arm contacts the guide fence or sub-fence, ad-

just the clamp arm to the upper position. Make

sure that no part of the tool contacts the clamp

when lowering the handle fully and pulling or

pushing the carriage all the way. If some part

contacts the clamp, re-position the clamp. Press

the workpiece flat against the guide fence and

the rotary table. Position the workpiece at the

desired cutting position and secure it firmly by

tightening the vise knob.

NOTE: The workpiece must be secured firmly

against the rotary table and guide fence with

the clamp during all operations.

EXTENSION TABLE ADJUSTMENT

Unlock the knob on the base. Slide the right

extension table to the desired table width and

stop the extension table by locking the knobs.

Slide the left extension table by the same

amount as above.
