CHECKLIST
• Chin is centered comfortably in the chin piece.
• The front and back openings in the collar should be centered on the
neck.
• Make sure the collar is nicely snug on the chin. You should not be
able to slip your chin inside the collar.
• The plastic edges of the collar should not be touching the skin. Make
sure the blue pads extend beyond all plastic edges of the collar
(Figure 6).
COLLAR CLEANING
• Remove the pads from the plastic parts (Figure 5).
• Wash the pads with mild soap and water. Do not use bleach or harsh
detergents. Do not machine wash.
• Thoroughly rinse the pads with clean water.
• Wring out the excess water and squeeze in towel.
• Lay flat to dry, which should take less than 60 minutes.
• Wipe the plastic collar shell clean with mild soap and water.
• Replace pads by attaching the dull side to the Velcro on the inside of
the collar (Figure 7).
