Caution! Prior to commissioning the device for the first
time, engine oil and fuel must be filled into the respective
reservoirs.
5. Operation
Check fuel level and refill, if required
•
Ensure the device is sufficiently ventilated
•
Make sure that the ignition cable is attached to the
•
spark plug
Check the immediate surroundings of the generator
•
Disconnect any electrical device which might be
•
connected to the generator
5.1 Starting the motor
Caution! Do not use chemical starting aids such as
easily volatile fuels or similar.
Turn the ventilation on the tank lid to "ON" (fig. 4/pos. A).
•
Turn the selection switch (fig. 1/pos. 3) to "Choke".
•
Start the engine by means of the starter pull cord handle
•
(fig. 1/pos. 4). In order to do this, pull the handle strongly.
If the engine does not start, pull the starter pull cord
handle once again. Caution! Always pull out the starter
pull cord handle slowly until first resistance before it is
pulled out quickly for starting. Do not let the starter pull
cord handle fly back following a successful start.
Turn the selection switch (fig. 1/pos. 3) to the "ON"
•
position after 15 to 30 seconds.

Econ switch (fig. 1/pos. 9) to "I":
The rotational speed of the engine is regulated
depending on the load. Thus, the device runs at a very
low volume and low consumption.
Econ switch (fig. 1/pos. 9) to "0":
The generator runs continuously at the maximum
rotational speed of the engine.
5.3 Loading the generator
Connect 230 V~ devices to be operated to the power
•
socket (fig. 2/pos. 10).
Caution! This socket may be powered continuously with
1600W.
Connect 12 VDC devices to be operated to the 12 VDC
•
connection (fig. 2/pos. 12) by means of an adapter cable
(fig. 3/pos. 20).
Caution! The 12 V connection may be loaded with max.
100 W.
Caution! The 12 V connection may only be used if the
Econ switch is set to "0".
Do not connect the generator to the domestic power
•
network. This may damage the generator.
Note: Some electric devices (jigsaws, drills, ...) may
have a higher power consumption if they are used under
heavy-duty conditions. Make sure that you do not exceed
the power output of the generator.
5.4 Overload protection
230 V power socket:
Operation indication (fig. 2/pos. 14) lights in green

during normal operation.
When overloaded, the overload indication (fig. 2/pos.
•
13) flashes red.
Turn the selection switch (fig. 1/pos. 3) to the "OFF"
•
position. Repeat the starting procedure according to
capital 5.1.
Caution! If this is the case, make sure that the output
