Congratulations for choosing one of our quality products. Please read these instructions carefully and completely before you connect the device
to the mains in order to avoid possible damages due to inappropriate use.

2. Connection to the mains
The device is made for an operating voltage of 230 volts~. Before you plug the power plug of the device into the mains socket of your house
installation, make sure that the operating voltage of your house installation corresponds to this voltage.
4. Switching on the device
By plugging the device into the mains socket of your house installation the insect killer is operable.
5. Safety instructions
1. The device should be kept away from children and therefore be stored accordingly.
2. Only hang up the device on the suspension ring and never on the power cord.
Hang up the device in a height where it is out of children's' reach.

4. The device is not suitable for use in agricultural buildings such as stables, barns, etc. It is not suitable for use in commercial enterprises
like grocer's shops, butcher's shops, etc. either.
5. The device is suitable for indoor use only.
6. Check the power cord for damages prior to each power connection of the device. Damaged power cords or lamps must be exchanged
immediately by an appropriately trained, skilled person in order to avoid dangers.
7. Do not operate the device if it shows any damages.
8. Do not use the device for any other purpose than the intended one.
9. The device is not suitable for use in rooms with easily inflammable liquids, explosive gases, and dust.
10. Do not touch the device with any objects.
11. Do not try to repair the device yourself.
12. Concerning cleaning and maintenance of the device please make sure you follow the corresponding notices of this manual.
Attention: Not suitable for use in barn, stables and similar locations. (Fire danger)
Attention: In its working condition the device generates "high voltage". Hang up the device on the ring which is attached to the
device, in a way that the device is out of the reaching area of the hands. Do not use, place or hang up the device within the
reaching area of the hands.
Warning: For environmental reasons outdoor use is prohibited because beneficial insects could be killed.
6. Replacement of illuminant
1. Disconnect the device from power supply and check whether it is voltage-free.
2. Remove the catch basin at the bottom side of the device by turning it counter clockwise and loosen the two screws of the lamp fixing.
3. Unscrew the used illuminant from the socket and replace it by a new illuminant with same value. Screw on the lamp fixing tightly.
4. Reinstall the catch basin by turning it clockwise.
Warning: For replacement only use original illuminates (art. no. 62311). In case the illuminant is broken or cannot be unscrewed,
please contact an authorised specialist.
7. Cleaning and maintenance
Before you can start with cleaning and maintenance of the device, it must be disconnected from power supply by unplugging the power plug.
Possibly discharge high voltage by touching the grid quickly with an insulated screwdriver. At the bottom of the device there is a catch basin for flies
which can be opened by turning it counterclockwise. It is recommended to empty this basin weekly.
Attention: Before you can remove the basin to empty it, the device must be disconnected from power supply by unplugging the
power plug. In case there should be flies sticking at the grid, only remove them with a soft brush.
After emptying the catch basin for flies do not forget to reinstall it at the device and to close it by turning it clockwise. It is
not permitted to operate the device without the installed catch basin. For electrical safety reasons do not use water or
other liquids for cleaning. Only use a dry, lint-free cloth, and a dry, soft brush.

9. General information
