4. Throttle lever
The throttle lever controls engine speed.
Pulling and releasing the throttle lever shown below makes the engine run
faster or slower.
NOTE:
The throttle lock lever interlock must be
depressed before the throttle lever can be
activated.
By pulling the throttle lever gradually, the
engine speed increases and the cutter
blade starts to move.
Pull the throttle lever more to accelerate
the engine speed and the operating
speed.
By releasing the throttle lever, the engine
speed decreases and the cutter blade
keeps operating for a while by inertia,
then it stops.
Throttle lock lever:
The throttle lock lever makes the throttle
lever operable. The throttle lever cannot
be pulled unless the throttle lock lever has
been pushed beforehand.
