PROGRAMS AND ELECTRODE PLACEMENT

Interference programs, 1–3
The interference programs (P1–3) are always used with two channels (four electro-
des) at once. When you adjust the amplitude on one channel, the other's changes
as well. However, you can adjust one channel at a time during stimulation. Press
P and adjust the amplitude on the left channel. Then press P again and adjust the
right channel. P1–3 are ideal for treating large areas of the body. Use quadripolar
electrode placement – see figure 3 – with the focus of the treatment area in the
middle.

Premodulated programs, 4–6
Premodulated programs (P4–6) are always used with one channel and two elec-
trodes. The channels are separate and their amplitude is adjusted separately. These
programs are ideal for treating a small area of the body, or two small areas at once.
Place the electrodes as shown in figure 4. The focus of the treatment area should
be between the electrodes.
