COMPLIANCE

The CEFAR IFC makes it easy to
monitor how much the patient uses the
stimulator.
1. Press both
button simultaneously, with the sti-
mulator switched off. The number of
treatments is displayed first.

is displayed in hours (h) and minutes
(min).
3. Press P. The total treatment time is

program to ensure that the patient uses
the right treatment.

Deactivating the code lock

BATTERIES

A battery indicator on the display of
the stimulator lights when it is almost
time to change the batteries. You can
keep using the same batteries as long
as the stimulation feels the same. You
know it is time to replace the batteries
when the stimulation is weaker than
usual or the stimulator stops working.
If you use rechargeable batteries, it
is time to recharge when the battery
indicator glows or when the stimu-
lator stops working. Note: Never try
to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
They may explode.
To change batteries: First, switch off
the stimulator. Remove the battery
cover by pulling it down and then
lifting it. Remove the batteries. Make

sure that the new batteries are installed
in the correct position (match up the
+ and – symbols). Always dispose of
spent batteries properly.
