10. Cleaning and maintenance

DANGER:
Urine and used test strips bare the danger of infection. Always use protective
gloves during handling and disposal. The disposal of used test strips should
be performed according to the regulations for the handling of potentially infec-
tious material.

10.1. How to clean the housing

Use commercially available disinfection wipes to clean and disinfect the instru-
ment from the outside.
ATTENTION:
Do not use liquids that can enter the instrument as these may cause perma-
nent damage of the instrument.
Clean the surface of the instrument with a disinfection wipe once daily.
