Setting the Thread reel bar hook

Pull the thread reel bar hook up as far as it will go.
Turn the thread reel bar hook so that the thread
guides are right above the spool pins.

NOTE:
Make sure the two stoppers on the thread
guide post, as shown, are set in at the correct
position.
Setting the Spool eones
Place the spool eones on the spool cushion. Thread
the machi ne in the following order: lf the thread slips
down from a spool cone during threading and/or
sewing, put a net over the spool cone as illustrated to
prevent jamming.

When using small spools, remove the spool holders
from the spool pins.

Place the spool with its slit side up, and put the spool
holder cap on top of it.
